Meet some of the Johnson, Timlett, Royal and Thurston Women in my family. They include my father’s mother Catherine, great grandmothers Alice and Mary, and quite a few aunts, great aunts and great great aunts who I’ll introduce you to along the way.
I’ll start with the Johnsons from the early 1700s, in the East End of London. Keep an eye out for Harriett, Whip Maker by trade, who may have had a cup of tea with Charles Dickens at the Bull Inn!
